We aim to promote better health outcomes through increased awareness and informed food choices under our Nutrition theme. To support the nutritional needs of women, adolescent girls, and children, dedicated sessions are organised on food consumption patterns, balanced diets, and healthy eating habits.
Special focus is given to nutrition during pregnancy and lactation, guiding women on the types of food essential for their health and the well-being of their babies. These sessions cover iron-rich foods, protein sources, and locally available nutritious options to ensure practical and sustainable dietary practices.
For adolescent girls, awareness sessions highlight the importance of a balanced diet during growth years, addressing issues like anaemia, undernutrition, and food-related misconceptions.
These community-level efforts help individuals understand the connection between food and health, empowering them to make conscious dietary choices that support their physical and mental development across all life stages.
